Tahoe Best Friends features all day fun from 7am – 7pm with 4,000 sq feet of indoor & outdoor areas. Your dog can play all day long, or relax with our loving staff.

Tahoe Best Friends allows your dog the to choose their activities with free flowing connecting play areas and open doors to the outside yards to come and go as they please under our caring eyes. Of course, we want the little ones to feel right at home with their own areas to play and relax as well.

    We have dogs of all ages from puppies to our loved seniors. Some enjoy non stop action and others prefer the Chill 'in atmosphere of Our Unique Cabin style living room with beds, chairs, TV and even a fireplace.

    Hours of Operation

    We are the only boarding facility with 24 hour staffing in South Lake Tahoe.

    Doggie daycare is available from 7am – 7pm

    Overnight visitors can be dropped off from 7am – 7pm*.

    *After hours drop off might be available but prior arrangement is necessary. We may be able to make special arrangements at least 48 hours prior for a surcharge.

    Please note that your dog must be dog-friendly and can safely interact with other dogs. Dogs should be neutered/spayed (call for puppy policy). If unsure about your dog, please call for a free evaluation (appointment required).

    Please note: We make every effort to play with and comfort dogs who might have separation anxiety. We have 24/7 staff and supervision. We do have residential neighbors to consider and we/they know that dogs will bark at times…just not constantly. If your dog barks excessively, we may need to contact you to make alternate arrangements. Thanks for your understanding.
