The owner of Tahoe Best Friends, Hannah Johnson, has been passionate about animals her entire life. She grew up at the coast of California, where her love of animas began with her array of family pets. From dogs to cats to bunnies to birds to guinea pigs, you name it!

She attended Oregon State University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Animal Sciences in 2013. Go Beavers! From there, Hannah moved to viva Las Vegas where she went back to school to get an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology at the College of Southern Nevada. She has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2015.

Over the years, Hannah has gained a great deal of experience in animal hospitals caring for animals’ medical needs. She has taken courses to become ‘Fear Free Certified,’ a program that instills knowledge in pet professionals to alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in pets in order to best care for their physical and emotional wellbeing.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys taking advantage of all that Tahoe has to offer. She loves snowboarding, hiking and paddle boarding with her dog, Raegan, boating with her family, and beach days with her friends. She likes to cook, read, and of course… play with dogs!

Hannah’s goal at Tahoe Best Friends is to provide exciting and safe social experiences for your furry family members. She wants Tahoe Best Friends to be a safe-haven for dogs to play, make friends, overcome fear, and feel comfortable in a home-style setting; all while easing owners minds that their beloved pets are in the caring hands of our knowledgeable and compassionate staff.
